About the store

Family business since 1947. Since 2006, in the third generation, Thomas Kunze has been running Kunze AG BERNINA Baden as a specialist shop for BERNINA and Bernette sewing machines, offering a large selection of fashionable fabrics, haberdashery, buttons, and ribbons. What began in 1947 with grandfather Edwin Kunze acquiring the BERNINA sewing machine shop in Baden has grown into a company with two locations in Baden – the fabric gallery at Bahnhofplatz 7 and the sewing machine competence center at Wettingerstrasse 23. Our offer on site includes, in addition to advice and the sale of fabrics, haberdashery, sewing machines and sewing furniture, also sewing courses and a workshop, where Thomas Kunze himself also works as a technician in the in-house sewing machine repair service. Benefit from our extensive knowledge of sewing, embroidery, and overlock machines. Let our team advise you. Whether you have questions about patterns or sewing projects, we are happy to help.
