Fibre Move: from fabric scraps to patchwork
Together against waste: give fabric a second life!
At Fibre Mood, we want to start a global movement against waste and unnecessary disposal: Fibre Move. We believe that every damaged garment or forgotten fabric remnant deserves a second life. So don't throw it away! Repair, reuse and recycle – for sustainability, beauty, and creativity.

Today: From fabric scraps to unique creations
Fabric often comes in rectangles, but garments don’t, and that's where waste is created. By collecting your cutting scraps in a pretty basket, bag or box, you are investing in an exciting new project. The size of your patchwork creation depends entirely on your patience and dedication. When you are ready to dive into your basket of scraps, the possibilities are endless. Be inspired by colours, textures and patterns … after all, you are making your own fabric!
Will it be a potholder, a decorative cushion, a handy bag, a cardigan, or an eye-catching overcoat? Machine-quilted or hand-quilted? English-inspired or rather Japanese? The choice is yours.

Join us in moving towards a more sustainable future! Take part in Fibre Move and share your upcycling projects with other makers. Together, we can really make a difference!
