It's such a shame to leave unfinished items of clothing lying around. So, get to grips with the designs and finish them off before you start another project. Were you a bit disappointed in the pattern and that's why you stopped working on it? If you finish it, you might change your mind. Or be creative and transform your pattern into a completely new design. Breathe new life into the pattern and rework it until it is more your style. This is your project so you can take the reins and be your very own designer!
Finished your project but still not sure? Donate the item to a family member or friend. You never know, they might love it. Then, all your sewing work won't have been wasted and you will feel a bit more fulfilled.
Where do you start?
- Find all your unfinished sewing projects. How many do you have? One, three or ten? Divide the projects into two piles. One pile of projects that are almost finished. These are items which only require a bit of finishing work. They could be items that need a minor repair. The other pile contains all the other projects where work is required.
