The original shape and eye-catching playful lines are what make Lexi’s simplicity extra special. Once you’ve made it the perfect length, you’ll be so cosy you'll never want to take it off! It’s even a snap to alter the length of the sleeve (did you notice the slight puff?). In this version, we made a 7/8 length sleeve.. Discover the easy way to get your sleeves the length you want them. What else? There are large hidden pockets in the side seams. The decorative seams add extra interest and detail to the design. You could also use a different trim fabric for more contrast.

Fabric advice

The logical choice is sweatshirt fabric or French Terry. Tempted to throw logic to the wind? Make it in scuba or a jacquard knit. In that case, make the neck binding in (ribbed) trim fabric.
