For my #HackVictoriaFM I decided to use three different fabrics:
Chiffon
Silk
Velvet
I love how dramatic the pattern can look. I altered the sleeves by making them less gathered using the Deer and Doe Melilot sleeves and the sleeve placket from them. I really enjoy the way the velvet pairs with the lace. The cuff is still the Victoria Pattern. I have used some buttons from a stash I already had from searching charity shops and I think they go perfectly.
On the neckline I have used the velvet and the lace again to create some contrast. I really like the cute detail and the instructions made it super easy to sew this together.
I like the way that I can wear it both tucked and untucked and I think that this will find its way into my work wardrobe pretty frequently!

De Victoriaanse blouses zijn tegelijkertijd wat preuts, door de hoog gesloten kraag, maar net ook heel erg sexy. Deze Victoria bloes met lange mouwen met polsbandje en opstaande kraag met ruches combineer je makkelijk met een boyfriend jeans. Succes verzekerd.
Stofadvies
De perfecte match voor de Victoria top is een broderie stof (= opengewerkte geborduurde stof uit katoen of katoen-polyester). De zachte, luchtige, naturelle uitstraling van de stof past perfect bij de romantische stijl van de top. Je kan ook een effen katoen of een viscose gebruiken in een licht fris kleurtje of de stof combineren met kant.
