Made from flax, linen used to have an old-fashioned image, but that’s all in the past. Because linen is hot, trendy and… natural! The revival is no surprise, given the desire for ‘raw’ and ‘pure’. You can also see this desire in the food sector. The biggest benefit of linen is its ability to absorb moisture. This way, you still feel nice and cool even in the heat of a summer day. Linen is incredibly strong, lightweight, and incredibly comfortable.
Be trendy in linnen
White dresses will be an absolute hit again this summer, so it’s the perfect time to make a lovely, white linen dress. Go for calf-length or maxi. This dress works best when combined with big buttons, a belt or knot at the waist, and a woven handbag. Loose linen pants or a funky, striped jumpsuit are going to be the summer’s big stars too. Linen also fits into the minimalist trend perfectly. Keep it simple, though; the fabric is strong enough to stand alone.
