Deze prachtige jurk stond al lang op mijn to-sew lijstje. Lang heb ik uitgesteld om er mee te beginnen. Er zaten zoveel onderdelen in waar ik geen ervaring mee had. Een kraag, borstzakjes, manchetten en niet te vergeten een heleboel knoopsgaten...

Ik zag echter zoveel mooie exemplaren langskomen dat ik er toch een MOEST beginnen.

Het werd mijn kerstvakantie project van 2019-2020. En gisteravond (op de laatste dag van de vakantie) maakte ik hem af! Eigenlijk vielen alle nieuwe onderdelen best mee, door de duidelijk uitleg op de site van @fibremood kon ik alle stappen goed volgen! Ik zeg project geslaagd! Vinden jullie dat ook?

En stiekem ben ik al aan het nadenken over een volgende uitdaging! Eerst wat pyjama’s voor zoonlief maken, maar zou ook al wel zin hebben in de #hollyfibremood 😉

Fabric advice
Use a woven fabric for the Susan dress. Opt for a light to medium-weight fabric with a fluid drape: viscose, for example. You could also use a light-weight cotton, although it will be slightly stiffer, and which will make the drape somewhat less fluid.
Straighter body types can go for stiff fabrics and fabrics with a fluid drape, while fabrics with a fluid drape are most flattering on curvier body shapes.
