Fabric advice

The Julia Jacket long can be made out of a stiff fabric, such as denim, a jacquard-weave, double crepe, etc. The result will be a "kimono" jacket that retains a solid structure. 
However, making this out of a fabric with a fluid drape, such as viscose, silk, thin woollen fabric, etc. is also perfectly possible. The result will be more of a kimono blouse.
