High-waisted pants with straight, wide legs and a fly front zipper. An understated model that’s effortless to combine.
Fabric advice
Make the Bertha in wide-wale or pincord cotton corduroy. Light wool (with a checked pattern) or jeans (cotton) also go well with this pattern. Choose a fabric that has enough drape.
If you decide to go with corduroy or jeans, don’t forget to wash the fabric before you get started cutting, because the fabric has the tendency to shrink lengthwise.
