Stilempfehlung für die Jacke „Roma"

This loose-fitting jacket with a striking collar and lapels, and slit pocket on the diagonal seam is a beautiful item to have in you wardrobe. If you want to make it that bit extra special then make it in fake fur. If you like a more classic look then select the chequered pattern. This jacket is easy to adjust for your bodytype. What are you waiting for?

Roma for A-types

The striking collar and lapels give your shoulders and complete upper body that extra bit of attention. You thereby take attention away from your ‘heavier’ lower body. The jacket closure falls at a good height drawing attention to the waist. Your ideal fabric can have texture and colour.

Don’t forget that a fake fur coat will make you look wider. So, to balance your figure, combine the jacket with more neutral items of clothing such as jeans, a T-shirt and roll-neck jumper. Finish your look with the right accessories.

Roma for V-types

With its striking collar and lapels and the low-hanging shoulders, your shoulders get more than enough attention. The seam with the slit pocket adds counter balance. Make sure this seam with the slit pocket is at hip height to create a more rounded shape and volume there. The jacket closure draws attention towards the waist. A V-line is created drawing eye to the middle of the body.

Here you can find how to lengthen a top section  (and shorten a lower section) and vice versa to get the seam in the right place.

Roma for O-types

With the point of gravity around your middle, for your body-type it is important to create vertical lines to elongate your figure and draw attention to your decollate, face and slim legs. The large collar and lapels draw attention to the top half. The jacket has a fairly straight cut and a row of buttons which create an elongating effect.

Don’t pick an overly bold colour. Combine the jacket with trousers or a skirt in a colour that is not too contrasting. Too big a contrast will make you look shorter and the whole idea is to make your figure look as tall as possible. You can choose to make the shoulders less wide so you get more structure at the height of the effective shoulders.

Roma for H-types

Your figure is naturally straight. Your shoulders and hips are about the same width and are in balance. Make sure you keep that balance in your figure. The low-hanging shoulders draw more attention to your shoulders. Combine the jacket with a pair of trousers with flared legs (for instance the Bertha trousers) or an A-line skirt, that will keep your figure balanced.

You can wear the straight cut of the jacket because it hides your ‘lack’ of waistline. The straight graphic chequered pattern is well suited to your straight body-type.

Roma for I-types

The striking collar creates additional volume at chest height and at your shoulder line, which makes your waist look smaller and gives your straight figure more shape. Combine the jacket with a pair of flared trousers (Bertha trousers) or an A-line skirt, so you create an X.

Roma for X-types

The general lines of the Roma jacket are well suited to your figure. The striking collar and lapels draw attention to your upper body. The jacket closure is at a good height to lead the eye towards your waist.

Roma for 8-types

The cut of the Roma jacket is great for your figure. The jacket closure is at a good height to draw the eye towards your waist.

Select a plain fabric that is not too busy and that will distract attention from your figure. Straight geometric patterns clash with your curvaceous figure.
