Style advice for the Riva Jumpsuit

If you have no idea what to wear, then a jumpsuit always looks good! Well, that is on the condition it fits well. A jumpsuit shouldn’t be too tight anywhere or pulling in different directions. The top section of the jumpsuit should be a bit blousy.

Riva for O-types

For O-types, it's the stomach that has to be watched out for. Make the top section of the jumpsuit long enough, which will make the stomach less noticeable thanks to the blousy effect.

The deeper the V-neck, the smaller the upper body seems.

Straight trouser legs or trouser legs that get tighter through the length will look perfect on you. Avoid trouser legs that are very wide, you are trying to create visual length after all.

A fabric with vertical lines can also create elongating effect.

Select a supple flowing fabric with enough weight and avoid fabrics that are too stiff. Also opt for quite a dark colour.

Riva voor H-types

There is a great balance between the shoulders and hips, you are just missing a waist. Your figure is in balance, so the aim is to maintain that balance.

The V-neck looks good on you, it elongates your neck and upper body. The V-shape draws the eye to the middle of your body, which is attractive with your straight figure as it visually creates more of a waist.

Opt for a heavy fabric. You could also make the dress in a supple flowing or somewhat stiffer fabric.

If you opt for a fabric with a print then choose a geometric or graphic print.

Riva for I-types

The I-types have very few curves and even less of a waist.

The shaped sleeves create added volume. The V-neck looks good on you, it elongates your neck and upper body. The V-shape draws the eye to the middle of your body, which is attractive with your straight figure The elasticated waistline and flared trouser legs give more shape to your figure.

Select a fabric that gives you more structure.

A print or bright colour makes your figure more attractive. Avoid fabrics that are quite dark.

Riva for A-types

The hips are the widest part of a pear's body and the shoulders are comparatively smaller. The trousers of the jumpsuit fall smoothly over the hips and flare slightly towards the hem. The focus should be on the upper body. The lower body should be kept as plain as possible.

For your figure, it is important that you subtly accentuate the waist. The elasticated waistline does that. Moreover, the V-shape of the neckline draws attention to the middle of your body.

A reasonably heavy fabric that falls smoothly is ideal for your figure.

A fabric with vertical stripes creates lengthwise lines at the height of the heavier buttocks. The stripes create an elongating so slimming effect.

Complete the look with earrings. They will draw even more attention to the upper part of your body.

Riva voor X- en 8-types

As a woman with an X- or 8-type bodyshape you have few problems finding clothing to suit your figure. Your body is perfectly proportioned: Your shoulders and hips are more or less the same width and you have a clear waistline.

With its V-neck, elasticated waist and straight trouser legs, the Riva jumpsuit has all you need to put your figure in the spotlight. The V-neck looks very good on you. It draws more attention to the waist and makes the upper body and neck look a bit longer.

Select a supple flowing fabric that has sufficient weight and avoid fabrics that are (too) stiff.

Riva for V-types

As a woman with V-type bodyshape your balance is high, meaning the point of gravity is above your waist. Your shoulders are wider than your hips.

The shape sleeves “soften” your shoulder line.

Place the seam dividing the top and bottom parts of the jumpsuit a little lower so that the upper body is slightly stretched out and appears less “heavy”.

Make the V-neck deep enough to draw the attention to the middle of your upper body. The deep, narrow V-neck will make the waist look slimmer.

Create a beautiful balance with wider by wearing trouser legs with some flare.
