Is it raining cats and dogs outside? This pattern has got you covered! Abby is a comfortable raincoat with a straight cut, handy hood, gusset pockets and snaps. Make it knee-length or maybe a little shorter. It looks fantastic in classic navy, fire engine red, flashy orange or porcelain white. Pastels like sky blue, dusty rose, pistachio, etc. also look great. And whether you're wearing a thick jumper underneath or not doesn't matter; just use the two snaps to adjust the roomy sleeve hems to the right width. Abby will have you happy before you know it – just singin' in the rain.

Fabric advice

Make the Abby raincoat in a coated or laminated fabric that's wind and rain-proof, like nylon, polyurethane, silicone-coated poplin, etc. Did you have a more everyday coat for mid-season in mind? Tencel, cotton twill, and denim are all great options.
