Embrace the cold with your Fibre Mood patterns

We’ve still got a way to go before the chilly winter days are behind us, but we’re not too concerned.

1. Chilly winter days call for cosy fabrics

Chilly winter days call for cosy fabrics. Fortunately, there are loads of options, and naturally those options are guaranteed to be fashiontastic. Hot & happening: teddy fabric.  It’s impossible to imagine the streets without teddy jackets and coats. Teddy fabric is the fabric par excellence for long coats and short bomber jackets. Warning! Your cosiness factor is guaranteed to skyrocket by 200%! Give teddy fabric a shot with the Frida and Penny Jacket or the Roma and Hunter coat patterns.

A second fabric with amazing cuddle factor is velvet. Not only does this fabric radiate style, but it also keeps you deliciously warm. Among others, the Carole dress, Kamille dress and Glory top are the perfect partners (patterns) in crime for velvet.

Is a little more casual o.k. in your book? If so, corduroy is your saving grace. This fabric isn’t just fabulously warm, but it's super trendy too! That’s a definite win-win! Fibre Mood made the Drew jacket, the Maddie and Anna skirts, the Legend jacket, the Dagny overall dress, the Constance overalls and the Bertha trousers in corduroy. You might have noticed by now that we're head-over-heels for this fabric. ;-)

Psst. The Leah boiler suit also looks divine in corduroy!

2. The snuggle is real

Ah, winter! The temperatures have dropped, and that means jumper weather! Grab your knitting needles and let the gentle click-click-click-click... commence. Out of inspiration? We'd never let that happen!

Is this your first time knitting? If so, the Janus, Primrose and Moussa are all a great way to start, and they’re perfect for bundling up your little ones.

Twinning is winning with a Tara for you and a Tara mini for your mini-me.

Still haven’t knitted your go-to jumper for the season? The Yvonne is just what you’re looking for. It’s an elegant V-neck jumper that looks great for any occasion. Psst...Make it in a bold colour & make an impression! Looking for something with short sleeves instead? Then go for the Oda top

Lila is perfect for experienced knitters. With its puff sleeves and wide neckline, the Lila is super trendy. The waves create a textured look to your knitting.

3. Cosiness, your partner in crime

If you’re looking to while away your time comfy on the couch, then there's nothing better than loose-fitting, cosy clothes. And let’s just say that those two words suit the Alexa and Benita patterns perfectly. Have you recently gotten your hands on a lovely jersey fabric? The Alexa was born for it. Alexa is a dress that's more or less especially been made for jersey. From ribbed jersey to velour jersey, this dress knocks it out of the park every time. Time to get creative! Did you happen to make the Benita trousers in a soft, strokeable fabric? Why not pair them with the Erin or Stella jumper for the ultimate snuggly outfit?

Looking for a fun, easy-peasy side project? You can have the Alexa or Benita done in no time, which means you’ll have oodles of time left to laze about in your new dress or trousers!

4. Winter wouldn't be winter without scarves!

There’s nothing cosier than a great big scarf wrapped round you. Milla is an easy-to-knit scarf that knit entirely in an elastic rib stitch. The scarf’s armholes also make it possible for you to wear it as a cape, so that you can really snuggle up in your knitwork. Every outfit guarantees the ultimate cosy factor!
