Do you feel like the trousers aren’t high enough at the back? It’s easy to adjust. Find out how to lengthen the crotch at the back here.
It’s also possible that you might feel like the trousers overall aren’t high enough at the waist. In that case you can lengthen the crotch at both the front and the back. See how to make this alteration here.

X-types

The shoulders and hips are more or less the same widths with a clear waistline. Clothes that follow the shape of your body and accentuate the waist look lovely.
So, how do you do it?
• Try trousers with a straight leg or a slight bootcut.
• Choose supple fabrics that follow your natural curves.

H-types

Straight and slightly flared leg trousers look great on wide rectangles. A common fitting complaint is that there’s too much fabric at the seat of the trousers. Find out how to adjust for that here.

I-types

For slim rectangles, a striking colour, bold print, extra details like pockets will all draw attention to the lower body and will all look great!

V-types

The Benita Trousers’ wider legs draw attention to the lower half of the body. An outfit suggestion: go for colourful fabric that’s textured, such as ribbed jersey or a check. Then pair it with a simple top in a more muted colour, so that the emphasis is on the trousers.
A common fitting complaint for inverted triangles is that there’s too much fabric at the seat of the trousers. Find out how to adjust for that here.

O-types

Trousers with a straight and slightly wide legs are very flattering on apple shapes. Combine the trousers with a tank top or blouse that hangs loosely over the trousers.
Choosing a similar colour for both the top and bottom works well. For another fun combination, how about a cardigan or jacket in a dark colour with a top in a bright colour underneath? This has a softening effect on the side of the body if you prefer to draw the eye inwards.
A common fitting problem for apple shapes is that the trousers are too tight and low on the front, while they fit just fine at the back. Of course you can adjust the trousers to suit you; find out how to do that here

A-types

Would you like to draw more attention to the upper? The Benita Trousers with their slightly flared leg do that wonderfully. One option is to make the trousers in a dark colour and pair them with a top in a bold or pastel colour print.
Fabrics with vertical stripes or ribs, e.g. corduroy or ribbed jersey create visual length. You could also add a contrasting coloured vertical vertical strip down the side seam to break up a dark colour.
You could also pair the Benitas with a top tucked in, or a crop top. Pears often experience the waistline of their trousers to be too low at the back compared to the front. Find out how to adjust for this here
