Stilempfehlung für das Lauren-Top

Lauren is a timeless oversized top with narrow hem edging on the sleeves. The round neckline brings out the best of your face and neck. Below you can discover how you can best wear Lauren for your figure.

Lauren for the O-type

Because the point of gravity for the O-type is around the middle, it is important to distract attention from there. You can do that by accentuating other areas, such as your face, shoulders, legs, and wrists, etc.

The beautiful, round neckline and the narrow hem edging at arm height are perfect to achieve that. The straight, loose cut camouflages the middle zone.

Combine the Lauren top with jeans with a straight or wider leg. Wear a lovely jacket, blazer or cardigan - that gives your shoulders structure - in a darker colour to give you a slender look. Another option is to combine the Lauren top made in a subtle print with a jacket or cardigan in a plain colour. Or vice versa.

Opt for a supple fabric. Tip: Small patterns on the fabric are ideal for camouflaging certain zones of the body. They create visual “chaos” which prevents the eye from being drawn to a specific point.

A long necklace is a nice accessory and perfect to break up a large surface.

Extra tip: Wear the top in a similar colour to your bottoms to create an elongated effect.

Lauren for the H-type

H-types have a good balance between the shoulders and the hips, but lack a waist. The aim is to maintain balance in your figure.

An oversized top gives your upper body added volume and disrupts the natural balance. So, make the top longer and wear a belt to draw in your waist. That way you will balance out your figure.

The ideal combination is to wear a top and bottoms in two different colours. That breaks the line at waist height giving your straight figure more shape. The round neckline also gives your figure extra “roundness”. Select a darker skirt or trousers and a light colour for the Lauren top. After all, you want to draw the attention to your upper body.

Lauren for the I-type

The straight figure of an I-type body type lacks volume and a waist.

So, you are best choosing a patterned fabric – flowers or stripes – for the Lauren top. Opt for a supple or stiff fabric with a great print. Fabrics that are too thin fall flat around the body while you really need structure.

Tip: Tuck the top into the front of your trousers or skirt. The wider look on top gives a T shape, making your waist look thinner and giving your figure more shape.

Lauren for the A-type

The hips are the widest part of a A-type's body and the shoulders are comparatively smaller. The challenge is to make your shoulders apA-type broader so that they are more in balance with your hips. To remedy this, you'll want to emphasise the top of your body. Try to use flowing lines to lessen the emphasis on the hips, that way you will create perfect balance in your figure.

The loose, straight cut of the Lauren top is less flattering for you, unless you tuck the top in your trousers or skirt. For an A-type body type it is important to add a subtle accent to the waist.

Make the top in a striking colour or in a fabric with horizontal stripes, a nice pattern, etc. then you can combine the top with a pair of trousers or a skirt in a darker colour.

A striking colour or a pattern demand more attention than a darker colour creating balance in your figure.

Moreover, the lovely round neckline will draw the attention to the top of your body.  And therefore, far away from the “heavier” lower body.

Tip: Extend the top into a dress and combine it with a belt to draw in the waist.

Must have accessories for this outfit: large earrings or a striking necklace.

Lauren for the X-type

The figure of the X-type body type is in perfect harmony: the shoulders and hips are about the same width and you have a lovely waist. Your body is therefore naturally well proportioned.

Choose clothing styles that follow the natural curves of your body and highlight your waist as much as possible.

The round feminine neckline is perfect for you.

Make the top long enough for your figure or turn it into a dress. Combine it with a belt to draw in the waist and accentuate it ever further.

Lauren for the 8-type

Women with 8-type body types are best accentuating the waist. After all, that is the slimmest part of your body. Avoid oversized tops and draw in the waist for extra attention to that zone.

Lauren3

Lauren for the V-type

Your shoulders form the widest part of your body. In contrast, you have slim hips. Bring balance to your figure by adding extra volume to your lower body, without overloading it too much.

The shaped sleeves and hem edging at elbow height distract attention from the shoulders.

Select a supple fabric (that is not too thin) to get rounder shapes.

The top should not be too short because then there will be too much focus on your upper body. Ideally, extend the top to the hips.

You are best making the Lauren top in quite a dark colour to place the least amount of focus on your upper body.

Combine the top with a pair of trousers with straight or flared legs or a straight or slightly flared skirt.
